The Content Coordinator will assist the Sales Resource Center (SRC) team by maintaining the team’s content storage tools and supporting its organizational processes. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be highly detailed-oriented and able to quickly internalize and apply the team’s best practices. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is not a requirement but is a plus.

The Content Coordinator will work directly with SRC Proposal Managers and other team members during both the proposal-writing process to locate or develop content and after the proposal has been submitted to “close-out” any new or updated information from that proposal. The Content Coordinator will also assist in updating team documents, content, and process outside of specific proposal development efforts.

A major aspect of this position will be maintenance of the Healthcare Practice’s knowledge management library. The Content Coordinator will work with the SRC team as well as members of the larger Healthcare Practice to make sure that content is up-to-date, comprehensive, and accessible. The ideal candidate will have strong trouble-shooting and interpersonal skills and be excited to explore and use unfamiliar technology.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

  • Internal SRC Team Support

  • Manage / update / organize the SRC’s team resources.

  • Assist Proposal Managers with finding / developing content (e.g., case studies, references, resumes) for individual proposal efforts and storing/recording that content.

  • Take active role in brainstorming and implementing improved organizational processes, tools, and strategy for the SRC team.

  • External Healthcare Practice Support

  • Manage SRC’s knowledge management library (i.e., MS SharePoint site), including organization, new uploads, user accessibility, and other regular maintenance.

  • Assist in the development / capture and storage of case studies, resumes, client reference information, and other healthcare content for users across the Practice.

  • Take an active role in brainstorming and implementing improved processes, tools, and strategy for the Library.

Overall responsibilities and skills:

  • Work with team members (both internally to the SRC and externally across the Healthcare Practice) to make the process of knowledge capture and knowledge discovery easy

  • Communicate with and support the SRC to use these processes in their daily work

  • Apply existing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement activities

  • Learn, use, and enforce the SRC’s formatting and brand requirements in all content

  • Quickly learn new technology platforms and research new tools and platforms

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Strong project management skills

  • 3+ years of relevant business experience

  • Strong Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills, including editing and quality control skills

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and be flexible with regard to schedule, as off-hours work may be required at times to meet aggressive deadlines

  • Superior interpersonal, networking, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Desirable:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or experience with writing proposals or grants

  • Ability to create quality proposal graphics such as organization charts and timelines (using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) or interest in gaining this experience on the job

  • Knowledge of or interest in enterprise knowledge management strategy and tools

  • Communicate frequently with co-workers as well as with managers to discern their needs, and be able to express themselves

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

  • Usually remains stationary for the majority of the day

  • Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively

  • Generally works in an office environment
